It's been 3 years we are taking classes with Mitul mam; we were practicing Avaz with my son since long but because of no proper guidance and planning we were not able to move further. after starting sessions with Mitul mam we are executing in a planned way ,Mitul mam is a wonderful teacher .She is very thoughtful & always well planned for the session what is actually needed for the child .My son has started doing a good navigation in Avaz ,till now he was mostly using it for nouns but now he is communicating using core words and action words .The shared reading material provided by mam is amazing he has learned navigation through that, he is now doing picture description. He has started typing CVC words too in Avaz, Mam always provides us the whole material for practicing, she has also helped me to customise Avaz for my son so that it becomes easier for him to use. thanks a lot Mitul mam for your guidance

I like how you combine his Avaz and DL sessions - reading a story using PPT and answering questions on Avaz instead of typing. I have noticed he is trying to make phrases on his own - when doing weather or calendar, he often adds the word 'today'. He still finds navigating the folders, challenging, due to his poor coordination skills. However, I'm confident that he will get better at it with your help. Please continue the wonderful work you are doing and fingers crossed, we can get Sammy initiating communication by himself soon!

Its helping Anshu he is enjoying sessions. On the same time, he is learning new skills. Before DL session he was not working on computer but now he learned mouse clicking, dragging, typing and now slowly he is associated DL session with Avaz. I also learnt how to work better with Avaz. His listening and concentration also improve. He is communicating in much better way and the big thing his aggression is reducing.

Mother of Shaurya, 13 years old

I contacted Mam & got Shaurya's Functional Assessment done. Mitul mam made a wonderful IEP for Shaurya which included all above aspects & suggested various other tools like DL (Digital Literacy). I was unaware of DL & could not even think of introducing it to Shaurya as I was of the opinion that DL could be done by kids/individuals who are at a much higher-level education wise. So, we started with Shaurya's IEP in Sep 2023. We used to have 1:1 Avaz sessions & 1:1 DL sessions. We literally started from scratch with Shaurya but Mitul mam has always been guiding me, providing solutions when I am stuck. Always being there in responding so promptly.
My first major breakthrough was limiting my son's screen time from 4 to 5 hrs a day to just 1 hr. Mam suggested how to do that. Initially we had tantrums but mam said to be consistent n patient n then we achieved it. In fact, Mitul mam advised to give him screen in the evening as a reward after finishing all day's activities and we still stick to this.

About the Founder

After spending 10 years in corporate world, I took a break from work when my son was diagnosed with Autism. I wanted to focus on my son, Ashmit. Once he started settling down well, I decided to increase my involvement in the field of Autism & contribute on a larger scale.

So, eight years back, I started off as a voluntary iPad teacher in Tamana – School of Hope. Post my RCI certification in Special Education, I worked as a Lecturer in Tamana Teacher Training Centre. As the journey progressed, I conducted several Parent Empowerment Programs & Workshops in collaboration with Sunshine Autism Care Society, Kolkata. I also conducted multiple Teacher Training sessions. The lifeline of my journey is my engagement with special kids through their one-to-one sessions. My team members and I conduct around 150+ one to one sessions per month.

We are committed to help individuals in the spectrum to discover their potential – we hope Autispace continues to touch many lives and make positive impact.
